One of our customers found themselves proud owners of some new- technology from Time Warner Business Class. We got the call yesterday because although they are paying for cable internet service, it didn’t include wireless. So we installed a used 450 Mbps Wireless Access Point. When I arrived the set up performed by Time Warner Business Class looked like a clown act had gotten out of the ring.
But that didn’t make me as skeptical as plain box connected to a black box identified as Technicolor. Time Warner explained that it’s a free guest wireless. So get this they install two devices that guests can use to piggy-back on your TWCs bandwidth, but they won’t give there paying customer a secure wireless router.
