My streaming music is down. Other people are affected in different ways. They’ll have it fixed soon. According to Verge, there’s no estimate on when service will be restored, but Amazon says it is “actively working on remediating the issue.”
So what is one to do about the outages that affect them and their business processes. Waiting for a solution important but not the answer. Amazon scrambled people and and got hands and minds on the issue right away.

Amazon’s web-based Simple Storage Service (S3) experienced widespread problems that disrupted websites, apps and smart devices. AWS S3 hosts websites, images on websites and app backends.
Websites and apps affected by the outage include Business Insider, Quora and Slack. The outage is also affecting images displayed on the Boston Business Journal website and its sister publications across the country.

The way to take action if your service is reliant on Amazon, Google or Microsoft is to have a clear IT Blueprint that suffices. Although none of Tekmar Solutions, Inc. current customer base was down it’s possible that business assets were affected.
